Montevallo’s City Council unanimously passed a “Complete Streets” Resolution at their meeting on April 22. Complete streets is an approach to infrastructure design that ensures roadways are safe for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and automobile drivers.

A new report released by the national non-profit Smart Growth America reveals how much municipalities can save, on average, by using smart growth development strategies. The report also examines how much revenue smart growth development generates compared to the alternatives.
