Meet the Team
About Sandra Cummins, the founder of Southeast Green. I created Southeast Green in the Fall of 2007. The mission of Southeastgreen.com is to promote a sustainable economy by linking the consumer to the resources and services available in the Southeast green industry and business community.
Before starting Southeast Green, I worked in the music industry as a sales and marketing account manager. As a national account manager for Sony Music, EMI Music and BMG Music Distribution, I represented a vast product line to an account base of national & regional music retailers and wholesalers.
Originally from Chicago, I graduated from Georgia State University in 1990. I enjoy living in the Atlanta area because of the abundance of outdoor activities that are available. My family and I enjoy hiking, biking and canoeing.

About Beth Bond, the Managing Partner of Southeast Green. Bond joined forces with Sandra Cummins in the summer of 2008. Beth took over the editorial content and managing duties of the website. Beth joined Sandra because she recognized not only the power of collaborating but that combined efforts would lead to a more robust website. A Southerner herself, Bond was tired of hearing about everything "green" happening outside her native region.
Owning her own marketing company for over 15 years and working with green companies, Beth knew the story of sustainability and green resided here in the Southeast. There was just no one place to tell the cohesive story of all the things that are happening in the Southeast. Since relaunching SoutheastGreen in September 2008, Bond has been establishing an even broader liaisons and partners to help continue the story of green and sustainability.
Bond serves on a variety of boards and committees in the Atlanta sustainable community. They include Steering Committee for Earth Hour 08 and 09, Dogwood Alliance Festival 08, Decatur Green Fest 09, Let's Raise a Million Power Partner and selected as Champion of the Week in the Champion Newspaper in November 2009.
Bond spent her formative years in Mobile, Alabama. She graduated from Florida State University and then served in Bouza, Niger as a Peace Corps Volunteer. She is active in her neighborhood, serves on Community Council for District 3, DeKalb County, and DeKalb County's District Attorney's Community Advisory Committee. When not working to better her community she participates in her church and otherwise can be found on the tennis courts playing in different tennis leagues.
