Georgia Interfaith Power & Light has a Solar Fund from which it can make no-interest loans for up to 10 years for the purposes of purchasing and installing solar photovoltaic installations at faith communities in the State of Georgia. These are no-recourse loans that must be paid back so that other faith communities can also avail themselves of this resource in the future.

Druid Hills United Methodist Church in Atlanta and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Decatur are the first churches to avail themselves of this opportunity.  For more information email GIPL at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
