Pump the MoviePump the Movie was here in Atlanta at the Plaza Theater. Southeast Green attended the Atlanta Premier which was followed by a Q & A with Yossie Hollander, the producer. Southeast Green also got to interview Yossie twice. Once on Speaking of Green and then at the event with SEGreen Mobile. This unenvironmental movie makes one of the most compelling environmental and energy security arguments for fueling America with American fuel solutions. The film is fuel agnostic but supports American solutions to our energy consumption. It was amazing to see how many alternative fuel choices we have from EVs, ethanol, LNG, CNG, biodeisel and methanol. To read in order start at the bottom and read up.

Sally Bethea - Chattahoochee Riverkeeper GalaThe annual Chattahoochee Riverkeeper Gala was also an event that honored Sally Bethea who after founding and then serving as the Riverkeeper for 20 years is now stepping down to allow new leaders create the next chapter of the Chattahoochee River. Green Wednesdays hosted American Fuel Systems. Rahim B. Charania, CEO, presented on American Fueling Systems and thoughts on sustainability in the general. It was great to hear a successful CEO discuss some of his thoughts on challenges for implementing sustainability in the general business community. Green Wednesdays is a monthly meetings hosted by the Green Chamber of the South. Presentations are on a wide range of topics.

2014 Visionary Dinner at the Fabulous Fox Eygptian BallroomSouthface's annual Visionary Dinner is always a stellar event. A who who's of Atlanta's sustainability community gather each year to be inspired and honor the winner of the Argon Award. This year's event actually included two events. There was a morning session with keynote speaker Andrew Winston, author of The Big Pivot. Then an evening event with the full dinner and all the gala was that night. The Pure Wraps - Nominated for a Nexty AwardThe largest Natural Food and Supplement trade show on the east coast hosted by New Hope Media was held September 17-20 in Baltimore, Maryland. As the subjects of better ingredients in food and health become more of a main stream of many American shoppers, Expo East offers a large variety of new products featuring on better ingredients including the body and lifestyle products. Fastest growing trends were Non-GMO Verified Project and Paleo products. Southeast Green covered the educational seminars and a couple of press events.
