Andrew Austin - Americans for TransitThe Atlanta Street Car pre-construction is underway. Central Atlanta Progress is offering walking tours where you can walk the entire length of the proposed line. Southeast Green took the tour and was lucky enough to meet up with the new Executive Director of Americans for Transit, Andrew Austin. Austin shared his thoughts on how Americans are shifting their perceptions about mass transit and the importance of mass transit.

Biofuels Ribbon Cutting in Atlanta - McKay Johnson, principal of Clean Energy Biofuels

McKay Johnson - Clean Energy BiofuelsSouthern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) launches it's biodiesel fueling station in downtown Atlanta. Open to the public, this station launches the cleanest biodiesel, along the I-75 Biofuel corridor. All of the fuel is produced from yellow grease from local restaurants and food service companies and then the production of the fuel is created with solar power installed. McKay Johnson, principal of Clean Energy Biofuels, formerly known as Down to Earth Energy talks about the growth of the biofuel industry.
