Dallas Fort Worth International Airport becomes the first U.S. airport to receive the EPA Climate Leadership Award. Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is pleased to announce it is the first U.S. airport to receive the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Climate Leadership Award for Greenhouse Gas Management.

EPA Prioritizes Texas Site to List of Contaminated Areas


The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed to add the El Dorado Chemical Company site in near San Antonio, Texas, to the National Priorities List (NPL) of Superfund sites, a list of sites that pose risks to public  health and the environment. Superfund is the federal program that investigates and cleans up the most complex, uncontrolled or abandoned hazardous waste sites in the country and converts them into productive community resources by eliminating or reducing public health risks and environmental contamination.
