John Noel, candidate for the Georgia Public Service Commission, made the following statement in reference to Paris Agreement withdrawal:

“As a Georgian and candidate for the Public Service Commission I am committed to reducing our carbon footprint and helping direct Georgia’s role in making America’s energy cleaner. President Trump’s decision to leave the Paris Climate Agreement does not fit with my vision for Georgia. If I am elected to the Public Service Commission, I will create and advocate for a direction that helps Georgia become the clean energy leader we naturally should be. And we can do this simply by focusing on creation of jobs solar, wind, wood biomass and efficiency so demonstrably bring to this State.”
