GlobalWatt, Inc., today announced it has signed distribution agreements valued at $2 million to supply its commercial and mobile solar panel systems for Texas clients.

The supply agreements for GlobalWatt's Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and integrated Solar PV/Thermal systems will serve strategic projects in Houston and the Gulf Coast.  The first two installations will be on the 10710 S. Sam Houston Parkway Building in Houston and the Grand Marina Hotel in Corpus Christi.

"This is the beginning of several of such projects to follow in a multitude of locations in Texas and beyond," said Mike Carnahan, GlobalWatt Vice President of Strategic Sales in Austin.

"GlobalWatt's unique solution offers a faster return on investment to our clients and this specialty market segment is a major growth opportunity for us," according to Sanjeev Chitre, Chief Executive Officer of GlobalWatt.

The GlobalWatt agreement with LNV, Inc of Corpus Christi also includes distribution of a Mobile Solar product line.  LNV has purchased a number of these systems for delivery in June 2011.  They include:

A. The Charlie - A mobile 500W system for the recreational market.

B. The Zorro - A 1 KW system for the commercial/industrial market.

C. The Sun-PAD - A unique, expandable, transportable solar platform for Disaster Relief and military applications.

The installations will consist of solar PV models made in Saginaw, Michigan by GlobalWatt in combination with the proprietary thermal system manufactured by Sol-Ice of Park City, Utah.  SolarDock of Wilmington, Delaware will provide the roof mounting infrastructure.
